George Clooney had a blast on the red carpet last night – signing autographs, messing with the other stars and, at one point, giving reporters a look at his flask of liquid courage. I guess he figured he had no shot against Jeff Bridges, so, might as well get loaded. Turned out he was right. (Video via: Popsugar)

I saw George headed over to the “fan” section signing …he was happy to talk to everyone ….and I bet if he had won he would have thanked the PAYING PUBLIC .. THE PEOPLE WHO PAY HIM … unlike anyone who did win.
MOVIES / AWARDS SHOULD BE ABOUT THE FANS, and most of them dont get it. They seem to think it is about 5000LB BLACK WOMEN. Why is there are no FAT white woment winning Oscars?

@Clooney Fan– If you watched the Oscars at all, you would have realized that the fans have nothing to do with who wins those pretty golden statues. Avatar took in more money than any other movie ever in life (which equivalates to more paying fans), yet won a mere 3 Oscars. So tell me why you would expect a thank you?

Because if it wasn’t for the fans and the money avatar took in, MOVIES WOULD NOT GET MADE. It’s that simple, and yet you missed it.
All the thank yous are a bunch of BS anyway, so they might as well say THANK YOU to the ONLY people who pay them their millions, THE FANS. Without the public paying to see movies, they are out of business.
That actually bring up the point of Avatar’s 2.6 billion dollars. WOW!!
That is a gloabl transfer of wealth. The people of Earth transferred 2.5 billion dollars to James Cameron. I thought the world was broke, but collectively you all gave him $2.5billion, WOW!! I say you guys because I have not seen it yet, and at this point I may never see it. From reviews I understand that is nothing but a ripoff of Pocohantes and a couple of other like type movie plots applied to a high tech background.
As of now I maybe the only human whom has never seen E.T. and now I think I will add Avatar to the “never saw it list”, along with this new 3D Alice movie …… fk them.

Personally I can’t stand the guy. I think he thinks he is God’s gift to the world. I think sneaking the bozz in was just a plot for some extra publicity. From the picture above he needs a few “nips” and tucks.” Is there a slight chance that he might be in the “closet?”
William H. Macy told me that the advice he received for attending the Oscars was: “Be sure to bring a flask.” And I assume no one’s snarking about HIS character traits.
