Victoria Jackson is entitled to believe whatever she wants to believe. My only advice to her would be, if she wants people to take her views seriously, she should probably stop taking the pills a couple days before any TV appearances and let that stuff leave her system. (Or even better, get herself to a drug treatment center.) You know you’re talking crazy when the Fox News guy has to nervously defend Barack Obama.

If this was Tina Fey making a spot for her beliefs you would goo all over yourselves saying how brilliant she is and what a great role model she is. But because Victoria isn’t a socialist liberal you, the party of hate and anger, have to see her as an insane loser who never made you laugh and is now in her antiquity is drooling all over herself for having any view that doesn’t line up with your own. When I was a teen and a 20 something and was a democrat I was part of what was called a dirty unkempt hippie who did nothing but talked about peace, love, and getting along with others. That was who Martin Luther King was, and Jerry Rubin was, and that’s who I was. Now just because I have changed my political affiliation I am hated by those who used to be the “beautiful people”. What has happened to the democrats and the peace and love that used to go along with being a free thinker? It has been replaced by anger, hate, and delusions of grandeur. Because up until a few years ago I used to be a neighbor of hers in Miami Lakes, Florida.
For years her husband was a cop with the Miami-Dade Police Department and she was a housewife.
Their lakefront home was one of the smaller ones on the block and they had tacky statues of children tumbling scattered about her crap lawn.
Then her husband retired and the family moved to California so Victoria could reignite her career.

I don’t believe this is an act. She’s appeared on The 700 Club talking about devout of a Christian she it, appears at Christian venues, her website has denounced Democrats (including fellow SNL alumnus Al Franken) for years, and she has already called Obama a communist on Fox News back in October 2008 on The O’Reilly Factor. However, if this IS an act, Victoria Jackson is a comedic genius on the level of Andy Kaufman, perhaps even greater.

This is what happens when you have too many Whitecastle fast food munchies. Since their inception the Teaparty crowd (not a movement since they do have the numbers or clout) have been “haters not debaters”. In my opinion this is what the small portions of the republican party of “birthers, baggers and blowhards” have brought you. They are good at “Follow the Leader” of their dullard leaders, they listen to Beck, Hedgecock, Hannity, O’Reilly, Rush and Savage and the rest of the Blowhards. Are you surprise at what they do when you know what they think? The world is complicated and most republicans (Hamiliton, Lincoln, Roosevelt) believe that we should use government a little to increase social mobility, now its about dancing around the claim of government is the problem. The sainted Reagan passed the biggest tax increase in American history and as a result federal employment increased, but facts are lost when mired in mysticism and superstition. Although some republicans are trying to distant themselves from this fringe most of them are just going along and fanning the flames. Lets face it the Republicans had 8 years to deal with health care, immigration and financial oversight and governance and they failed. They could not even win one of the two wars they started, the body bags are still coming in. The Republicans wanted to give Obama his Waterloo defeat over healthcare but instead they gave themselves their own Waterloo defeat by not participating in the debate of ideas and by becoming the party of obstructionist. But they now claim they have changed, come on, what sucker is going to believe that?
Even Steve Douche bag seemed to squirm at Jackson’s dizziness, simplistic and erroneous assumptions. Perhaps Jackson can get her own radio show with that other SNL wingnut Alumnus who was never funny – Dennis Miller. Hey, every barrel has its rotten apples.
I heard her on NPR a couple years back, speaking (in her normal speaking voice) about how she had decided to read the bible, and how she had found it horrific and violent. She was appalled by it. The fact that teabaggers (and fox news) got duped and invited her as a guest doesn’t mean it’s not an act. And the fact that she had crazy lawn ornaments doesn’t mean she’s a teabagger nutjob–it means she has a sense of humor. She played a vapid bimbo the whole time she was on SNL. She’s using the same character now to lampoon the tea party clowns. That voice is not her real voice, which should be your first clue that she’s putting you on.
And by the way, on NPR, she spoke intelligently and articulately. Not like some doofus. Even if you suppose she is for real, it’s even funnier that the teabaggers and fox news would invite someone so vapid to speak on behalf of their cause. That’s what makes it such brilliant satire.
Actually, Ice-T Partier, I prefer people who are, you know, qualified to lead large political movements. Here’s a guy who went to school to be an oral surgeon, and here’s a “common folk”sy dude who you probably had a beer with last week. Now, who would you rather have remove your wisdom teeth?
