Jerry Seinfeld Throws Down on Lady Gaga

Jerry Seinfeld knows funny.  And Lady Gaga?  She ain’t funny.

Of course Jerry has good reason to count himself among Gaga’s detractors.  After all, it was his CitiField box the lewd-and-rude pop star invaded after flipping off Mets fans in a now-notorious incident two weeks ago.

Jerry is not keeping quiet about his disdain for Gaga and her antics.  He told KFAN radio’s Steve Somers Monday night:

This woman is a jerk. I hate her. I can’t believe they put her in my box, which I paid for.

This was hardly the end of Seinfeld’s anti-Gaga riff.  He also took on the obscene gesture that got her in so much hot water with Mets fans in the first place, saying:

You give people the finger and you get upgraded? Is that the world we’re living in now?

Why is she giving the finger? How old is the finger? How’d it even get to be the finger?

Then Seinfeld really stuck the knife in, saying:

I wish her the best.  You take one ‘A’ off of that and you’ve got “gag.”

It’s nice to see that Jerry hasn’t lost his touch.

We’ll see how Gaga responds.  Or IF Gaga responds.  Remember, she didn’t have much to say when M.I.A. ripped her.  So I wonder if she’ll even bother trying to take on Seinfeld.

I see his work hasn’t changed much.
