Whoopi Goldberg Defends Pal Mel Gibson Against Charges of Racism
Most of the human race has heard Mel Gibson‘s recorded tirades against Oksana Grigorieva and concluded that he is a violent jerk and a racist.
There are people in Mel’s circle, however, who believe that he is not a racist, and are willing to say this in public.
Whoopi Goldberg is one of these Gibson defenders. Evidently Whoopi has been friends with Mel for a long time, and having looked into his soul, knows that he is not what the tapes make him appear to be.
“I know Mel, and I know he’s not a racist,” Goldberg said on The View. “He may be a bonehead.”
Whoopi added, “I can’t sit and say that he’s a racist, having spent time with him in my house with my kids.”
Well, it’s nice of Whoopi to stick up for her friend. However, I don’t think the shit Mel has been wallowing in is the kind of shit you really want getting on you. So I think Whoopi would do well to back slowly away from the situation, turn and walk down the road at an ever-brisker clip until she is clear.
And by the way…yes, he is a racist.

Mel’s not a misogynistic racist, and Roman Polanski didn’t commit “rape rape.” Is she trying to get a role in one of their movies? It’s time for Whoopi to get her eyes examined and check her moral compass. With her current logic,one could argue Jim Crow laws weren’t really divisive because everyone still lived in the same country, and Hitler wasn’t a problem because his final solution wasn’t so final. Egad, logic needs to be reintroduced to the education system.
Well, well, well. Now the police are investigating this bitch for trying to extort Gibson. And how come no one is talking about her aggressive texts? Is it always the man’s fault in these situations?
Sounds to me like he was justified in being angry.
