While everyone else was off partying and getting ready for the big Liston-Clay fight, Don and Peggy were at the office banging out ideas for the Samsonite campaign.
The fact that it was Peggy’s birthday and she was supposed to be having dinner with Mark meant nothing to Don, who was his usual morose, drunken self.
Things got testy after Peggy blamed Don for ruining her birthday. Here’s one for the Emmy reel:
And then they had a late dinner and listened to the fight, and Don puked, and Duck came in all drunk and almost took a dump on Roger’s chair…and Duck nearly beat up Don because he thought Peggy was screwing him. Did I mention that Duck almost took a dump on Roger’s chair? Get that dude to a meeting, stat.
