Report Says Lindsay Lohan Will Host SNL, NBC Denies
NBC isn’t quite sure if it’s ready to be associated with Lindsay Lohan. Earlier today, there was a report that the recently jailed starlet had been tapped to host Saturday Night Live, but this afternoon an NBC insider told The Hollywood Reporter that the story is erroneous.
Look, you can’t blame NBC for being hesitant to confirm any association with Lindsay Lohan. She’s radioactive. Of course, everyone realizes that when Lindsay is ready to be welcomed back into the show-biz fold, she will represent a ratings bonanza. So, it’s all about timing. You don’t want to sign her up too soon, because it may hurt your brand, but you don’t want to wait too long or someone else might snap her up.
And there sits poor Lindsay, waiting for the green glow around her to subside. And she can’t even snort coke or drink anymore, because the court is watching her like a hawk. And people say she’s free? She’s not free. She’s a prisoner of an unjust system (she paid me to say that).
