Kid Rock Blasts Steven Tyler for Taking “American Idol” Gig
Steven Tyler is going to be a judge on American Idol, and Kid Rock isn’t happy about it. “I think it’s the stupidest thing he’s ever done in his life,” Kid Rock said of Tyler’s new gig. “He’s a sacred American institution of rock ‘n’ roll, and he just threw it all out the window. Just stomped on it and set it on fire.” Actually Kid, Steven and the rest of the guys in Aerosmith did that a long time ago – when they made that horrible song for the Armageddon movie. That pretty much proved they were total sell-outs, so Steven taking over for Ellen Degeneres on American Idol…not exactly a shock. And by the way Kid, before you chuck stones at Steven Tyler, remember that you will also be an over-the-hill rocker one day yourself. What am I saying? You already are an over-the-hill rocker. Probably, you’re just jealous that Steven was offered such a sweet job: sitting next to Jennifer Lopez and her crazy ass all day ripping losers new assholes. Would anyone give you a shot at that gig? No way. Not unless every other singer including Darius Rucker and Michael Bolton turned it down. Then it would be like, “Hey, let’s give Kid Rock a ring. He’s not doing anything is he?” And you’d take that job so fast, it would not even be funny. So why don’t you give the whole “Guardian of the Rock Star Way of Life” thing a rest, okay buddy? You’re not even a real rock-n-roller anyway, you’re just some lame former white rapper who decided to start singing…badly.
