World’s Funniest Poker Commercials
Poker fans have been blessed the last few years, as plenty of online poker sites have released a ton of different hilarious commercials, often aired during televised poker broadcasts of shows such as High Stake Poker and ESPN’s World Series of Poker coverage. Popular sites such as Full Tilt and PartyPoker have both released a bevy of commercials for television that appeal to would-be poker players in a fun, creative way, setting themselves apart from many other competitors that simply crank out boring commercials that are little more than an extended sales pitch as to why you should play at their site.
Poker is actually a goldmine of sorts for humor, as it’s always good for a laugh to see the normal stereotype — think uber-serious poker player wearing sunglasses with their poker face firmly on — turned on its head, especially when it involves some of the world’s top poker players such as Phil Ivey. Strip poker is also a pretty fertile ground for funny commercials, as you’ll see in some of our favorite poker commercials listed below:
The Phil Ivey Full Tilt Commercial:
This is one of the few online poker room commercials that the notoriously media-shy Ivey has agreed to do.
Banned Centrum Strip Poker Commercial:
This one apparently never made it to television due to subject content, which is quite the shame as it’s one of the few multivitamin commercials that is pretty hilarious:
PartyPoker Poker Around the World commercial:
Anyone who has played online poker (or poker at all) can definitely sympathize with this one, which elegantly and humorously sums up the poker experience for many in just 30 seconds:
