“We don’t make mistakes, we just have happy accidents.” – Bob Ross
Today on Wednesday Jams we are going to take a fresh look at the greatest painter of the 20th century, no not Picasso, Bob Ross. Bob Ross did more with his paints than Picasso ever thought about doing. Bob not only painted amazing magically masterpieces before our very eyes but he also inspired us to be the best that we could be. Speaking for myself I know that Bob’s quiet encouragement that “I could do it” helped carry me through my childhood in the 80′s and 90′s. Bob will always hold a special place in my heart and be my favorite artist. Here’s to happy little trees, fluffy little clouds, and little baby mountains.
I feel like I could take on the whole world now, I’m so ready for anything. Well, I’m at least ready to paint a happy little world. After all, I’m the creator I can do anything. What was your favorite PBS show from the 80′s and 90′s? Let us know in the comments.
