With the Warlords of Draenor expansion underway, Blizzard has given us some filler to help the time fly. In Azeroth Choppers, Blizzard has hired Paul Jr. and his crew to build two choppers for the players, one for the Horde and one for the Alliance. By the end of the Webisodes the viewers will vote on which bike they would like to see in game.
I don’t see how an alliance bike can win, actually. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure the Alliance version will look freaking fantastic, but it’s a chopper for crying out loud! How could the Horde element of the game EVER lose? Sam Didier made it very clear in the webisode, Horde is “..spikes, skulls, thick iron blades and chains..”. If I pulled up next to a nice family on a Sunday morning riding something like that, you know their response would be a quick lock of the doors and the windows rolled up.
Towards the end of the first webisode, Paul Jr. tells the two teams that he has a platform for each of their bikes. Here they are…
I’m looking at these with sort of bitter-sweet expression. They could become something very cool, but right now I’m on the fence about both. This is the first episode though and they usually have a way of bringing these things around in the end. So, I did some digging and found some images of what I believe the Horde and Alliance completed bikes will look like. Enjoy.
The Alliance Chopper ‘Retribution’
The Horde Chopper ‘Blood Fury’
Yes, the Alliance may have a little two-cylinder engine, but the Horde have tassel’s of DEATH!
Sad thing is, these seem like improvements. What do you think? Comment below.
