As far as the tasks of a former player, namely having opinions, offering useful analysis, and generally saying interesting things, Barkley typically outshines O’Neal by a wide margin.
But what if Barkley and O’Neal were, say, to engage in a wrestling match? You might have wondered to yourself who would win a wrestling match between these two gigantic men, whether it took place during their careers or on the set of a television show with both men in a shirt and tie. If you are a weirdo and have thought about such a confrontation, then wonder no more:
So Shaq won…kinda. It was more Barkley falling down than anything. On full display here: some nimble feet from both men in retirement, Shaq’s long arms, and the backside that earned Barkley the nickname the “Round Mound of Rebound.”
As for wrestling matches on set, we can only hope this becomes a trend: are you telling me you would change the channel if Mike Ditka and Ray Lewis squared off or if anybody (literally anybody) had the chance to defeat Skip Bayless? I think not.
